What we do not do

• No cookies. Neither our own nor third-party ones. That is why you see no window asking your permission: there is nothing to permit.
• No analytics. We do not measure visits, or journeys, or where you came from.
• No third-party requests. The typefaces and the images are served from here. No social networks, no embedded maps, no video from a platform.
• No profiling. We do not cross-reference anything about you, nor pass it to anyone, nor sell it.

This is not a promise: it is how the site is built, and you can check it by opening your browser’s developer tools and looking at which requests leave these pages.

The server

Like any web server, the one serving these pages logs the requests it receives. Those logs are used to keep the service running and to detect attacks, and for nothing else.

If you write to us

There is no form here: all contact is by email or telephone. When you write, we receive what you send — your name, your address and what you tell us — and we use it to reply and to handle the enquiry, and for nothing else.

The correspondence of a serious enquiry is kept. An authentication request, a provenance you supply or a reproduction authorisation become part of the Estate’s documentary archive, which is what makes it possible to answer the next enquiry well. It is the criterion of an archive, not of a commercial database: what documents a work is kept, not what documents a person.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in administering and documenting the legacy and, where applicable, performance of the relationship you ask us for.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to your data, and for rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you may object to processing. Write to ab@arranz-bravo.net and we will reply.

If you believe we have got it wrong, you may contact the Autoritat Catalana de Protecció de Dades or the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

The restricted archive

The restricted part of this site and the internal management tool do require identification, and whoever enters does so with an account issued by the Estate. Those accesses are logged, granted to a named person, and revocable.

Inside that area there is third-party data — provenance, locations, owners’ names — that never reaches the public part of the site. This separation is not a rule of conduct: it is how the database is built, and every publication of the site is checked automatically to verify it.
